Canada-Israel Chamber of Commerce Appoints Meir J. Klein as Interim Executive Director
Toronto, ON — December 2, 2025 - The Canada-Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is proud to announce the appointment of Meir J. Klein as Interim Executive Director. A visionary leader and dedicated community builder, Meir brings over 35 years of experience across the real estate, non-profit, governmental, financial, and entrepreneurial sectors
Meir’s distinguished career includes more than three decades at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, where he served as Director of Research & Development and Director of Economic Development. His work fostered deep ties between the Jewish community and all levels of government, and helped shape key initiatives that continue to strengthen Canada-Israel relations.
Notably, Meir played a pivotal role in the development of the Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement through his close collaboration with the Embassy of Israel in Ottawa, the Consulate of Israel in Toronto and Western Canada, and the Consulate of Israel in Montreal. Meir has led numerous business missions to Israel, helping to catalyze innovation and bilateral economic growth.
As Co-founder, Director, and Executive Vice President of the CICC, Meir has long been a driving force behind the Chamber’s success. His extensive background in finance and real estate, combined with his strategic insight, make him uniquely equipped to guide the organization into its next chapter.
