Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Eden Attias
Brigadier General (Rt.) Eden Attias is the Founder and President of EATC-International. The company’s mission is to bridge between Israeli technologies and the Canadian market. EATC-International is deeply familiar with the Israel’s defence sector and has a wide network in Canada, and is therefore well positioned to match needs to capabilities. In addition, Mr. Attias is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of ParaZero.
On December 2011, Israel nominated Mr. Attias as its first Ministry of Defense Attaché to Ottawa, Canada, a position he served in for three years. Mr. Attias spearheaded the development of the defence relations between the two nations, and greatly enhanced cooperation for military and security organizations. Under his leadership, the office created new trade opportunities for firms and facilitated long lasting collaboration between both countries.
Mr. Attias has a distinguished military resume, having served in Israel’s Air Force as a pilot and as a leader in numerous positions for over 30 years. During his service, Mr. Attias participated in several of Israel’s most sensitive operations, including Operation Solomonthe covert rescue of tens of thousands of Ethiopian Jews. He later oversaw strategic air base consolidation project, which helped create jobs and built infrastructure to further settle the Negeve region. He then commanded Israel largest air base, Nevatim, from 2008 to 2011.
Mr. Attias holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Haifa.
